See the JPQ Live!

I’m happy to report that the Jason Parker Quartet will be performing live at three new venues this Fall/Winter. I’ve had a lot of brides ask me where they could see us play…well, now you have many chances!

On November 10th, we are excited to make our debut at Seattle newest Jazz Club, Egan’s Ballard Jam House. When I first read their Mission Statement I knew this was going to be the new home for Jazz in town. Their website states that their main goal is “[T]o preserve and honor not just the music, but the tradition of passing down the history and culture of jazz from generation to generation.”

We’ll be playing the early set, from 7-9:30pm, so don’t be late! In fact, even if you have plans, why not start your evening with dinner at Egan’s, enjoy the music of the JPQ, and then head off for the rest of your Friday night? Sounds like a fine idea to me!

On Saturday, December 2nd, Josh and I will play a duo gig at Tutta Bella Pizzeria in Columbia City. Tutta Bella serves up the finest Neapolitan style pizza in town, and offers Jazz three nights a week. Josh and I love playing as a duo, and we’ll pull out all the stops from 7-10pm. Come by, have a slice and dig it!

Finally, on Saturday, December 16, the full band will take the stage at Caffe Bella, a cozy coffee house and wine bar in downtown Seattle. They serve espresso drinks, fresh pastries, draught beer and wine. We’ll play 2 sets between 9-11pm.

Hope to see you at one or more of the shows!

  1. I’m really looking forward to these gigs. It’s great to play the nice weddings and private parties that we do, but my friends get restless when I haven’t offered them a live show in a while.

This will be a nice little run to ward off the beginning of winter doldrums!

Hope to meet some new people and see some old friends at the gigs.
